One thing we all love about keto is that we can eat all these luscious fatty foods.  Something that is not too often addressed is portion size.  The typical American diet has been "super-sized" and that has largely resulted in we becoming "super-sized."  We are not accustomed to the "eat until satisfied" concept, but the "eat everything on your plate," "starving children in China," and other myths.  The amount of food I prepare for my husband and I, while not carb heavy, is probably in excess of a sensible calorie count.  I made Cream of Crab Soup (modified from an Old Bay recipe) yesterday and we ate it with Red Lobster Imposter Biscuits (from Cooking Keto with Kristie).  Oh, it was sooooo good.  I could have eaten multiple servings (each serving would be approximately 6.4 oz), not in my best interest, but I did have an extra ladle-full.  I've heard that 10-12 oz of food per meal should be the target.  (This from a professional chef, in speaking about how a kitchen determines serving sizes, customer volume, and food purchases.)   Any thoughts on this?  It might be a worthwhile topic for a video.

My thoughts: "Serving Size" is largely based upon the new American notion that you should eat six or more meals per day.  Since I do OMAD or 20/4 fasting, I can pack some serious calories into that one meal (or meal and snack) and still be at a very reasonable calorie count for the day.  I've also found that since going keto, I don't have the desire to eat until I'm full.  I used to ALWAYS clean my plate.  Now, I'll often feel satisfied halfway through.  I'll cover my plate with plastic wrap and save it for tomorrow.

@ketoadmin @nancy-curtis I try to do the 20/4 plan as well and find that I eat far less in that one meal than I did pre-keto.  I am not as hungry at mealtime and Less fills me up quicker.  I used to be able to pack away a 12 inch pizza without any effort, now I find that one or two slices and i am done.
