I have a killer recipe for sauerkraut stuffing that is easy-peasy. Fry up a pound of bacon until crisp. Remove the bacon (used for toppings later). add a big jar of BRINE sauerkraut. Wine sauerkraut just doesn't work. Fry until dark golden brown and let cool. i can eat this stuff by the spoonful but oh boy, does it make a killer perogy filling.
