I'm not going to enforce a specific recipe format for those of you who post recipes. What I would ask is that you think about how it's going to look if someone copies and pastes it into a document or tries to print it out. If it's hard to read, people just aren't going to bother with it.
Things like spacing, using bold and/or different font sizes for headings, using bullets -- all of these things help in terms of readability.
If you want to include a picture, I highly encourage it. I promise you, more people will make it if you include a picture or two.
Additionally, if you want to make your recipe searchable -- say by the food type (beef, noodles, chicken), ethnicity (Mexican, Chinese), meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and/or cooking method (sous vide, grilling) -- you can use tags on the original post.
Also, please include the macros, if possible. That can be a determining factor in whether some people might make the recipe or not.
