I bought a new non-stick skillet, at Wal-Mart. Not my first choice of places to shop for cookware, but in Quechee, VT (vacation residence) options are limited. I perused the selection (pretty impressive, actually) and chose a Copper Chef 10" skillet with lid. Induction compatible, oven safe. This morning I used it for the first time and made the most beautiful omelette ever! I put a TBSP of butter in the pan, but I'm not sure it was necessary. The eggs slid effortlessly across the surface, making it easy to redistribute the liquid to the skillet surface, unlike my trusty Lodge cast iron. I should have taken pictures. This is now my new favorite pan. I will be buying one for my permanent residence when I get back to FL, where there's a hurricane coming, and a bullseye on my house. Just another day in paradise.... 😆
Interesting info. I feel that I'm going to need to replace some of my non-stick cookware soon. I've been looking at the new pans by Ninja. Reviews of those have been very favorable.
