I don't know if I've ever heard of this contraption, but after reading the comments by all of yall its definitely peaked my curiosity. I will have to check this out.
Scroggins, My first post on this topic I said I had never seen the appeal. I started looking at YouTube videos about the Sous Vide machine - specifically this guy https://www.youtube.com/c/SousVideEverything/videos. Then I had to have one. It arrived a few days ago and I have made Fillet Mignon (because Giga from Sous Vide Everything says make sure you get your favorite/the best steak for your first steak.) It was amazing. I have never had a better steak in my life. Giga is not too crazy about chicken, but I did chicken thighs tonight. I marinated the chicken and then made a nice pan sauce with the liquid from the cooking bag. It was amazing.
I have never had better steak or chicken at any restaurant I have been to. Next I want to sous vide eggs.
Olivia thank you for telling your experience with it, and for the video referencing. I just might have to look into this one.
