Performance Nut Butter Review

About a month ago, I was approached by Performance Nut Butter, asking me if I would be interested in making a custom recipe and cooking video for them utilizing their product. I told them that first I would need to try their nut butter and see if it was something I could endorse.

As soon as I tasted it, I know this was a product I could not only get behind, but use to make some great recipes.

Performance Nut Butter (PNB going forward) comes in little pouches, leading me to believe that the target audience is athletes, hikers, and people on the go. The oil and the nut butter tend to separate, so it’s a good idea to squish the packet around a bit to mix the oil back in before you open the packet.

The ingredients are about as straight forward as you can get: macadamia nuts, coconut, cashews and pink Himalayan sea salt. That’s it. But even though I knew the ingredients, I was completely unprepared for the taste. It was truly amazing. It’s a flavor that actually takes a bit of time for your brain to process if you’ve never had macadamia nut butter before.

I’ve since used it in a handful of recipes (those recipes and videos will be coming soon), but in the meanwhile, you can watch our video review below.
