Directions

  • Mix together the dry ingredients in a bowl or food processor. I recommend using a small food processor, such as the Cuisinart Mini (4-5 pulses is plenty).
  • Mix in the wet ingredients, with a hand mixer or with a food processor, scraping down the sides as necessary.
  • The batter will yield 3 waffles/chaffles with a little left over, so you don’t need to be especially diligent in scraping down the sides of the bowl. Pour roughly 1/3rd of the batter into a Dash Mini waffle maker, but don’t fill it completely or it will overflow as it bakes (see the video to see how much I used).
  • Bake for 3 minutes then remove to a cooling rack for a few minutes before serving.

  • To make a more moist chaffle, add 1 TB of heavy whipping cream with the wet ingredients.
