gramsKeto Chow recently released a new flavor created by yours truly – cream of mushroom. I designed this flavor to be used in soups, sauces and gravies. In this recipe, I emulate the traditional cream of mushroom soup that you’d get out of a can, only better tasting.
Ingredients
2 cups water (475mL)
4 TB cream cheese (60g) *see note
2 TB butter (30g)
1 packet Keto Chow cream of mushroom
4 oz can of mushroom stems and pieces (113g)
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, combine water, butter and cream cheese over medium heat until butter has completely melted and cream cheese has mostly melted.
- Add the Keto Chow and blend with a immersion blender.
- Add the mushrooms and simmer for 5 minutes adding salt and pepper to taste.

Notes
- The reason I classified this recipes as “medium” difficulty is due to the specialty ingredient (Keto Chow) and because I know not everyone has an immersion blender.
- Whenever I use cream cheese in a recipe, I always use the Philadelphia brand.
Hi Steve,
I had a fraud alert on my debit card & need to change my card number, but I’m not sure how to get to that page, or where my $ are sent from, how do I change that? Thanks, Mary Ekroos
I don’t know what that has to do with this recipe or website.
HI Steve, I bought a couple of packets of your KC cream of mushroom soup. I want to make Green Bean Casserole for Easter. How can I use this in the recipe? Thanks. Linda
I’d check out the 2 Krazy Ketos channel on YouTube. They did a green bean casserole with it. I’m not much into green beans, so I haven’t tried.
Thanks, it’s a family thing and I’m trying to make it more healthy! I’ll look it up!
I use the recipe Family Fresh Green Bean Casserole by Claire Robinson. It’s an older Food Network recipe. I’ve always omitted the flour that’s in the recipe, but you could add the mushroom KetoChow to substitute, and I use pork panko for the topping. Season the green beans and mix everything together instead of layering like the recipe states. It goes over very well whenever I make it. I usually double the recipe and bake in a 9×13 dish.
